The Ryder Cup Welsh Seniors Open at Conwy was a great success for all concerned.

We had good feedback and response for our recently installed artificial green training facility.

Congratulations to Peter Mitchell for winning the tournament, after fending off the legendary Ian Woosnam - who I witnessed lip out for a hole in 1 on the 15th in round 2 - and also a superb late run by J Bruner.

Our director, Terry Adamson, had a great day playing in the Pro-Am partnering Dennis O'Sullivan. Dennis is a fantastic player and also proved to be a very nice guy both on and off the course.
